This series consists of ninety-eight contact sheets printed from thousands of Hestoft's negatives of photographs taken during 1979 and 1980 for the and the . The sheets are grouped together according to the following subject headings: students – photographs and portraits; faculty, staff, and administrators; campus scenes and events, athletics and speakers; and off-campus scenes. Each sheet has been numbered consecutively with its number referring to an envelope holding the corresponding negatives. The contact sheets, then, serve as a guide to the negatives which have been separated to the University Archives' negative file under the heading, "Hestoft, Ralf-Finn." Since not all negatives from particular series of photographs have been contact printed, the negative file should be consulted for additional shots. All negatives in this collection are from thirty-five millimeter, black- and- white roll film. Daily Northwestern Syllabus
